Petrified Palm Wood Earrings
Petrified Palm Wood Earrings set in sterling silver with a textured finish.
Indonesian petrified palm wood is a highly sought-after fossil. Dating back to the Oligocene and Miocene epochs (20 to 40 million years ago), it is famous for its intricate, rod-like structures that look like "dots," "flame patterns," or "eyes" when cut and polished. It naturally forms in a rich variety of tones, ranging from classic butterscotch, brown, and black, to rare blues, opals, and teals.
